Not only is this a stunning, dramatic image, it's downright creepy if you ask me. Can you imagine those poor slobs out there in their boat on the Adriatic, or wherever it is, trying to dredge in a few sardines and sea bream when things get choppy, and all of a sudden the clouds part and there's this guy walking toward them on the friggin' water!

What does Jesus want? How did He get so far out to sea? Did His feet sink in a few inches as He trod, and, if so, wouldn't that produce a kind of drag effect similar to walking through snow? And wouldn't that make Him extremely tired?

Sometimes religion creates more questions than answers.
